Reporting – Pipe Properties PODS vs Vendor Report
This is an overview of the Pipe Properties PODS vs Vendor report as part of our Cognitive Integrity Management user guide video series.
Before we get into the report – please note that this only works if you have an active API connected to PODS, UPDM, or APDM, or data are inputted into the System Management module within CIM.
The purpose of this report is to quickly identify the gaps between your GIS platform or system and the vendor report you are analyzing.
To get started you must select the system name, assessment name and vendor report you would like to analyze. Once this is complete click show report and you will see the screen refresh with the selected data in view.
For every joint identified in the ILI report that is shown you will see all the data discrepancies between the GIS inputs and vendor reported data highlighted in red. For example, in the Newport to Laguna 2015 assessment, under ILI Pipe Wall Nominal you see .322 listed compared to PODS Pipe Wall Nominal .375. The significance of this analysis allows you to report these discrepancies to your GIS team and have them update their records.
This report can easily be exported to excel, saved as a PDF or word document to distributed across departments.
